EUmark Set 02 — marking system with 58 mm stencil printer
The mark itself takes seconds. Waiting for a stencil for content you have never marked before takes days — unless the printer sits on the same bench. Set 02 removes that wait for the full machine: black oxide marking, deep etch, and the ability to print your own stencils.
What the P58D printer is built for
The 58 mm printer produces clean text, part numbers, date codes and fine line artwork. Thin strokes and outline logos reproduce well at this width.
It is not built for machine-readable symbols. QR codes, barcodes, thick strokes and large solid black areas should be avoided — they do not transfer reliably at 58 mm. Where scannable codes are required, Set 04 (SUPER SET) uses the wider printer and the software built for it.
Two marking modes
- Black oxide marking — shallow, high-contrast dark mark.
- Deep etch, light marking — recessed, with real depth, for marks that must survive further finishing or years of wear.
Set 06 is the direct comparison at a lower price: same printer, compact machine, black oxide marking only. The choice between them is whether depth will ever be required.
Kit contents
- EUmark marking unit, 110 V / 220 V, with power and marking cables
- Stencil printer P58D, 58 mm print width
- Stencil design software, included, optimised for text and fine lines
- 1 × stencil tape
- Hand stamp, marking felt
- Electrolytes M21, M22, M23 and N11 Neutralyte
- Sample long-life stencil and sample printed stencil
Set 02 ships with one roll of tape. Set 03 is the same system with six rolls and a second marking felt — a working stock rather than a starting sample, for a small difference in price.
Materials — including aluminium
Works on any conductive metal. Aluminium is the one exception worth flagging: it forms a non-conductive oxide layer almost immediately in air, which produces a grey, muted mark rather than a dark one, and many aluminium alloys contain magnesium and silicon that complicate this further. Tell us the alloy and we will confirm the approach before you order.
The four fluids
| Fluid | Behaviour | Use it when |
|---|---|---|
| M21 | Self-cleaning, many marks per wetting | Batch runs without stopping to re-wet |
| M22 | Very dark, used for deep etch; felt needs washing after use | Maximum contrast or specified depth |
| M23 | Non-corrosive; wipe dry after marking | Corrosion-sensitive materials |
| N11 Neutralyte | Protects the surface after etching | Standard step after M21 or M22 |
Each fluid ships with a safety data sheet. A 200 ml bottle delivers up to 20,000 marks. The table is a recommendation — trial marking on your material is required, and we will run the first one for you on request.
