EUmark Set 07 — compact system for serial number marking

Set 07 exists for one situation: every part carries a different number, and none of them needs deep etch. Serialised production, asset tagging, lot and date coding, unique device identifiers — hundreds of stencils, each used once. That work needs printing capacity and number-generating software, not a machine specified for a depth it will never produce.

A 108 m roll represents thousands of printed stencils at a typical length — built for production serialisation, not occasional marking. The 58 mm printer in Set 02, 03 and 06 handles text and fine lines well but should not be used for QR codes or barcodes; Set 07 and SUPER SET 04 are the two configurations built for machine-readable marking.

What it does not do

Set 07 is built on the compact machine — black oxide marking only, no deep etch. Where a drawing specifies etch depth, SUPER SET 04 gives the full machine, both marking modes, and full 200 ml electrolyte bottles.

Materials — including aluminium

Any conductive metal is compatible. Aluminium needs a different approach, forming a non-conductive oxide layer almost instantly in air that gives a grey rather than dark result — magnesium- and silicon-bearing alloys complicate this further. Confirm the alloy with us before ordering.

Electrolyte and documentation

Set 07 ships with an electrolyte sample. Full 500 ml bottles of M21, M22 and M23 are available separately — each with a safety data sheet, required by most quality systems for incoming inspection and the audit file. One bottle covers up to 20,000 marks. Trial marking on your own material is a required step before production use; send a coupon and we run the first one for you.
