M21 Batch Marking Electrolyte
The marking fluid decides how often the operator has to stop. M21 is the batch marking electrolyte in the EUmark range — formulated for the case where stopping is the expensive part.
Self-cleaning behaviour
During marking, the by-products of the reaction accumulate in the felt. On a standard electrolyte this happens quickly enough that the felt has to be washed before mark quality drops. M21 clears those by-products as it works, so one wetting carries through a high number of marks.
Where it pays
On a batch run, the gain is not in the price of the bottle. It is in the operator staying at the bench instead of at the sink. Across a shift, the difference between marking continuously and marking in short interrupted stretches is the whole reason manual marking gets estimated as slower than it is.
For maximum contrast or deep etch work, use M22 instead. On corrosion-sensitive materials, use M23.
Finishing
Follow with N11 Neutralyte to protect the marked surface.
